Latest Updates

Thank you so much for your generous donation to Roscoe’s Rescue during our time of crisis. Your support is making a significant impact as we purchase feed, medication, hay, and other necessities for our beloved animals. We had to deplete a majority of our personal funds to resolve a critical well issue, and we are truly grateful for your kindness.
UPDATE ON OUR WATER WELL: After days of trying to resolve the issue with our well pump, we encountered some challenges. Unfortunately, the non-working pump became stuck in the well and could not be retrieved. With costs already exceeding $10,000, we had to implement a workaround to restore our water supply. We pushed the stuck pump and nearly 100 feet of PVC pipe to the bottom of the well and placed a new pump on top. Thankfully, we are still below the water table and can get water from the new pump. It took another week to clear the water, which had been disrupted by chemicals and extreme iron deposits. We are pleased to report that our water is now testing good and functioning properly. In the future, we plan to retrieve the old pump and lower the new pump for better efficiency.
IN OTHER ROSCOE’S RESCUE NEWS: We have recently winterized the entire property in preparation for freezing temperatures and snow. New shelter has been built for Ferdinand, one of our mini cows, ensuring he stays cozy during the colder months. We’ve also added straw and insulation to our existing shelters, so we are well-prepared to protect all our animals! Additionally, we recently completed our “Boo at the Rescue” event, which transformed the farm into a Halloween wonderland. Families came to enjoy treats and meet our animals, and it was wonderful to see so many smiling faces.
Currently, Roscoe’s Rescue is home to over 70 animals on our 35-acre ranch, including cows, pigs, donkeys, goats, rabbits, chinchillas, emus, dogs, and cats. Thank you once again for your incredible support! We hope you continue to follow our journey and assist us in the future.
