A Message from Roscoe's Rescue

First and foremost, thank you for your continued support of Roscoe's Rescue. Every donation, share, and word of encouragement helps us provide a safe and loving forever home for the animals who depend on us every day.

As many of you know, Roscoe's Rescue is home to more than 70 rescued animals across our 35-acre sanctuary, including cows, pigs, goats, a miniature donkey, emus, rabbits, chinchillas, dogs, cats, ducks, turkeys, hedgehogs, and more. Each animal has their own story, and each one requires daily care, feed, shelter, and attention.

Current Projects and Needs

Our focus this year has been improving and expanding shelters and fencing throughout the sanctuary. Safe fencing is essential to protecting our animals, while properly maintained shelters help ensure they remain comfortable and protected from Colorado's ever-changing weather conditions.

In addition to these improvements, the day-to-day costs of operating the sanctuary continue to rise. Hay, grain, feed, bedding, veterinary care, medications, and basic supplies are ongoing expenses that never stop. While we work hard to provide the best possible care, the reality is that the sanctuary currently operates at a monthly loss, with expenses exceeding donations and support received.

Behind the scenes, Kris continues to dedicate countless hours every single day to caring for the animals, maintaining the property, coordinating veterinary care, completing repairs, and managing the many responsibilities that come with operating a rescue sanctuary. While we are fortunate to have a few dedicated volunteers who help when they can, the majority of the daily work falls on Kris's shoulders.

Despite the challenges, our commitment to these animals remains unchanged. Every fence repaired, every shelter improved, every bale of hay delivered, and every meal provided helps ensure that our residents continue to receive the safe, loving care they deserve.

Because of supporters like you, these animals have a place to call home for the rest of their lives. Your generosity directly impacts their well-being and helps us continue our mission of rescue, rehabilitation, and lifelong sanctuary.
